When Breath Becomes Air

Just finished this book and it is worth your time!  Really good read on how a young man who had trained for years to be a doctor reads his x-ray and sees the large tumor growing in his lung.  It's a great check on appreciating every day.
One quote that I landed on is that we are "struggling toward the capital T - Truth, but recognize that the task is impossible or that the correct answer is possible.  Each of us has only a part of the picture.  The doctor sees ones, the patient another, the engineer a third, the economist a fourth, the pearl diver a fifth, the alcoholic a sixth, the cable guy a seventh, the sheep farmer an eighth, the Indian beggar a ninth, the pastor a tenth. Human knowledge is never contained in one person. It grows from the relationships we create between each other and the world and it is never complete."
Human knowledge is never contained in one person...so, I am not always right or have all the answers.  Good reminder.
