What could Islam have to do with finding peace and purpose?  I have just finished my third book by, Ayaan Hirsi Ali and it is filled with lessons of the stark contrasts of freedom vs. fear.  Check out her web site if you want to know more about what she believes Muslim have in mind for our way of life.

While this may seem out of the realm of finding peace and purpose, I believe it speaks directly to what we need to learn so that we can remain open-minded, able to analyze, free to make choices for ourselves as women and then to pass that freedom on to our daughters and granddaughters.
