Healthy Living!

These ideas are taken from a course I offer called:  CREATION HEALTH!

CHOICE: This is the first step toward improved health.  Set new goals and be deliberate about forming healthier habits and striving for better balance in your life.

REST: This is about getting a good night's sleep, but also knowing how and when to rest.  The practice of honoring the Sabbath also has major health benefits.

ENVIRONMENT: What lies outside of our bodies, our environment effects what takes place inside of us.  Sight, smell, sound, taste, touch all influence our health either positively or negatively.

TRUST: Our faith, our believes all effect our health.  Trust in God is vital to spirituality, health and healing.  Faith and the practices that go along with that have a positive impact on our well-being.

INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Key to health and happiness.  Who is 'speaking' into your life?  You are most like your 5 closest friends.  Look at them and see if they align with your values and how you want to live your life?  Toxic relationships contribute to a downward spiral of health and wellness.  Support groups and positive friends and family help keep us healthy and can speed recovery from illness.

OUTLOOK: This is a gift that you give to yourself.  Being positive colors your perspective on life and influences your view of the world and people in it.  It also affects the amount of joy and hope you allow yourself to experience.  

NUTRITION: The fuel that drives your whole system.  Eat less and choose higher quality foods that enable you to be healthy and live longer.  Let food be your medicine.
