Costa Rica
So, how does one describe what it's like to see 200 prisoners lined up for baptism? Singing loudly and clapping their hands...not holding back because for some, Jesus is all they have to hang on to!
The women's prison...equally as powerful. You can see the scars on some of the women...the pain they bear is 'written' on their body clearly for all to see. When I looked at their scars, my thought was that most of us have scars, they are just hidden.
Another amazing week of serving with Carlos & Karla. I pray God's richest blessing and protection on them, their children, and their ministry. While it's a challenging week, it's also one of the places where I most vividly see the Kingdom advanced and the darkness pushed back. Grateful today.
