The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert

I love books!  I devour them...sometimes, three and four at a time.  This one, I have read and am now reading again...have scribbled notes in the margins and highlighted much of it.    It describes the journey of a college professor, radical leftist, lesbian, that was advancing her ideologies.  Her telling of the journey is not to shock you, but to show you how a pastor asked her to explore and defend what she believed.  She said he sent her a 'neatly typed two-page letter that was the kindest letter of opposition that I have ever received.'  She kept trying to throw it away, but would dig it out of the trash at the end of the day.  So, she called and they began an exchange where he was ready to listen and learn - he and his wife 'invited the stranger in'.  I encourage you to read this story.   She describes it as 'a train wreck at the hands of the supernatural'.  Go ahead...it will encourage you no matter where you are in your spiritual journey.
